A Peaceful Cycling Experience
Spend half a day leisurely cycling through the scenic countryside of Vietnam, far from traffic, scooters and city noise. You’ll cross islands on the Thu Bon River delta using local means of transport such as ferries and floating bridges.
This tour takes you to discover how wooden river boats are built, discover the art of weaving colorful “Hoi An” straw sleeping mats. Try the renowned Vietnamese basket boats, visit a traditonal family wooden house and much more. You’ll meet and interact with the region’s rural inhabitants, far from the usual tourist circuits.
At lunchtime, you will be invited into the home of a local Vietnamese family for a traditional Vietnamese meal, and learn their customs and traditions. After you have relaxed for a while under the shade of a mango tree, you will begin your return towards Hoi An by boat, which will take about 35 minutes.

Yes! Very flat terrain (9 km / 5.5 miles) with no automobile traffic and frequent stops. Children can ride as passengers in child seats (ages 2+) or on their own bikes (ages 6+). Child seats and baby seats available on request. This is our most family-friendly tour.

I don't know how to ride a bicycle. Can I still join this tour?
Absolutely! We have tandem bikes available upon request (subject to availability). One of our team members or someone traveling with you can pedal in front, while you sit back and enjoy the ride as a passenger on the rear seat — a perfect way to experience the tour without needing to cycle yourself.
What should I bring?
Bring sunscreen, a hat or cap, sunglasses, comfortable clothes, and don't forget your camera. From November to January, a light windbreaker is recommended for the 40-minute boat ride. We provide water, helmets, quality bicycles, and all safety equipment.
What happens if it rains?
All our tours run even in the rain — it's part of the adventure! Your safety is our top priority, so in case of any risk or unsafe conditions, the departure will be cancelled with a full refund provided or postponed, with a full refund provided.
The Morning tour includes a traditional lunch, This tour is shorter, only 5 hours. Both cover similar countryside routes with artisan visits and authentic village experiences.
How is this different from the Real Vietnam full day tour?
The Morning tour is a half-day experience (6.5 hours) focusing on essential countryside highlights with a traditional lunch included. The Real Vietnam tour is a full day (9 hours) covering 25 km with more villages, longer cycling, and deeper cultural immersion. Both feature authentic encounters with locals, but Real Vietnam explores more remote areas and includes additional activities like rice paper making and extended boat experiences.

Cancellation policy
For Cancellations made 24 hours in advance of your departure, your full amount will be refunded.
For a cancellation less than 24 hours from your departure, 70% will be refunded.
If you do not show up at the designated departure time without notifying us at least 12 hours in advance, no refund will be made.
In the case of rain at the time of departure, you may choose to postpone your tour to another day or cancel your tour and receive a full refund.
If you have paid through Paypal, your refund will be made through Paypal. In the case of a cash payment, your refund will be made at our office in the currency in which you made the payment.
Once the tour has begun, no refund may be requested.
Heaven and Earth Tours reserves the right to interrupt a tour at anytime. In this case you will receive a full or partial refund.
