Designed for the winter season, Magic Vietnam can replaces our Real Vietnam tour when floods or mud make certain countryside sections impractical. You follow a smooth, safe route that keeps the best of countryside life without tricky crossings.
We begin with an approximately 1-hour local boat transfer on the Thu Bon River delta. It is a calm cruise to a village in the islands and your gateway to rural Vietnam.
Morning ride (≈19 km): an easy, continuous pedal across rice fields and island lanes, with time to peek into everyday life such as a small rice mill or a family temple. We also make spontaneous stops when something catches the eye.
Lunch with a local family: share a home-cooked meal and stories. It is a simple, warm moment that says more than any brochure.
Afternoon ride (≈9 km): gentle cycling with curated stops at craft workshops: hand-woven sleeping mats, round basket boats, crossing the last wooden floating bridge, delicate mother-of-pearl inlay and much more. A short ferry brings us back to Hoi An around .

Yes, for children aged 8+ who can ride 28km comfortably. Younger children (2-6 years) can join in child seats, but consider the 9-hour duration. We recommend our shorter Countryside tours for younger kids. Flat terrain, very low traffic and frequent stops make it family-friendly.
Can I book an e-bike?
Yes. E-bikes are available for +9 USD per person (subject to availability).
I do not know how to ride a bicycle. Can I still join?
Absolutely! A tandem bicycle can be arranged on request (subject to availability) so you can join as a passenger while your partner or guide pedals. Perfect for non-cyclists who still want to experience the Real Vietnam.
What should I bring?
Bring sunscreen, a hat or cap, sunglasses, comfortable clothes and camera. A light windbreaker is recommended for the boat rides. We provide water, helmets, quality bicycles.
What happens if it rains?
All our tours run even in the rain — it's part of the adventure! Your safety comes first: if conditions are unsafe, we cancel (with a full refund) or postpone.

Cancellation policy
For Cancellations made 24 hours in advance of your departure, your full amount will be refunded.
For a cancellation less than 24 hours from your departure, 70% will be refunded.
If you do not show up at the designated departure time without notifying us at least 12 hours in advance, no refund will be made.
In the case of rain at the time of departure, you may choose to postpone your tour to another day or cancel your tour and receive a full refund.
If you have paid through PayPal, your refund will be made through PayPal. In the case of a cash payment, your refund will be made at our office in the currency in which you made the payment.
Once the tour has begun, no refund may be requested.
