Discover Hidden Trails, Waterfalls & Authentic Vietnam on a Full-Day MTB Adventure
Conquer the Mountains: Full-Day MTB Adventure in Hoi An
Dream of an authentic day away from classic tourist circuits. Join us for a full-day MTB adventure in Hoi An while discovering Vietnam in a completely different way.
This mountain biking tour is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in rural Vietnam, the one you imagine when planning your trip.
Set out for 70 km of adventure and discovery. Explore the hills and the first foothills of the Annamite Range. Ride winding forest roads, dirt tracks, and single trails through crops and rice paddies. You'll pass through authentic villages where life flows with the seasons. Most importantly, you'll discover a Vietnam that few tourists ever get to experience.
A Day of Surprises and Spontaneous Discovery
It all begins with a local ferry crossing on the Thu Bon River. The moment you leave Hoi An, the landscape transforms dramatically. The delta opens before you, then gradually, the mountains of the Annamite Range appear on the horizon.
You'll transition from concrete paths to dirt tracks and shaded trails. Fair warning: from October to February, mud can turn certain sections into a real challenge.
Forget tours with scheduled visits. This day is all about the unexpected and adventure. Throughout the circuit, spontaneous stops punctuate the route: an unexpected encounter, a buffalo plowing the fields, a landscape worth capturing. Nothing is set in stone. Every tour is different.
Hidden Waterfall & Lunch Experience
Midway through, you'll reach an isolated waterfall deep in the jungle. Surrounded by lush vegetation with mountains as your backdrop, it's the perfect moment for a refreshing swim. The water is cool, the view is spectacular, and you'll feel like you're the only person in the world.
Fair warning: From October to February, heavy rains can make the waterfall inaccessible. In that case, we'll offer equally memorable alternative scenic stops.
After your swim, we head to a simple family-run restaurant where you'll taste Mi Quang, the region's famous local specialty. This is where you experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine, prepared the way locals eat it. Vegetarian options available upon request.
The Return: New Trails, New Discoveries
The return journey isn't a simple repeat of the way in. We take different paths, offering fresh scenery. You have options: venture into the hills with more challenging, technical trails, or stick with the original route.
To finish the day, we'll head back to the delta to catch the ferry back to Hoi An.
