To make things clear, we use a 4-level scale (French reference system).

Level 1 Easy
Beginner- 5–20 km
- < 150 m D+
- Smooth surfaces, no obstacles
For whom: Families & complete beginners
Level 2 Moderate
Intermediate- 15–35 km
- 150–500 m D+
- Road + gravel, basic handling skills
For whom: Regular riders
Level 3 Sport
Challenging- 30–90 km
- 500–1,200 m D+
- Mixed terrain / sections requiring good control
For whom: Trained cyclists
Level 4 Expert
Very Technical- 50–90 km
- 1,200–2,500 m D+
- Varied terrain / partial trail routes
For whom: Very fit, experienced riders
