To make things clear, we use a 4-level scale (French reference system).

Level 1 Easy
Beginner
  • 5–20 km
  • < 150 m D+
  • Smooth surfaces, no obstacles

For whom: Families & complete beginners

Level 2 Moderate
Intermediate
  • 15–35 km
  • 150–500 m D+
  • Road + gravel, basic handling skills

For whom: Regular riders

Level 3 Sport
Challenging
  • 30–90 km
  • 500–1,200 m D+
  • Mixed terrain / sections requiring good control

For whom: Trained cyclists

Level 4 Expert
Very Technical
  • 50–90 km
  • 1,200–2,500 m D+
  • Varied terrain / partial trail routes
